Pool Renovation

There are a few reasons why one may need to remodel, whether it be due to damages or degradation or just a need for an image upgrade. If you’re hoping to avoid any costly repairs the pool may need before renovation, it’s a good idea to make yourself aware of the warning signs that a remodel is needed.

• Leaking – while quite often a renovation is started to freshen up the aesthetics, this isn’t always the reason. A pool that’s damaged definitely needs to be renovated. A simple crack in the wall may be easy to fix in the immediate, but it could be a sign of an underlying issue that needs to be repaired. If you let your pool leak for long enough, this can cause irreversible damage to the pool’s concrete structure and a complete renovation of the entire pool may be in your future.
• Poor energy use – if your pool was installed over a decade ago, it’s definitely time for some renovations. Improving the energy efficiency of your pool is not only good for Mother Earth, but it’s good for your wallet as well. That’s definitely a win-win! 
• Outdated pool equipment and peripheries – the filter system of your pool is incredibly important for keeping it clean and crystal clear year-round. Age-related deterioration is the primary reason behind the pump, filter, or any of the plumbing being replaced. Be on the lookout for common signs of filter-system issues: loud noises, grinding or screeching, bubbles in the pool, no suction or pressure, breaker box issues, and more frequent cleaning requirements.
